Typhoon Sendong

Typhoon Sendong, and the subsequent flash floods, left more than a thousand people dead this weekend in the Philippines and government officials expect that number to rise. Emergency teams have started bringing food, water, and medicine to evacuation centers in the Southern Philippines while rescue teams continue to search for more than a hundred people who are still missing until now.

Angelito: Batang Ama

Angelito: Batang Ama (Young Father) is an upcoming Philippine daytime drama series that is slated to premiere in ABS-CBN on November 14, 2011. The story revolves around a teenager, Angelito (JM De Guzman) who impregnates his high-school girlfriend (Charee Pineda) and strives to raise their child. The series will air in one of the network's daytime slot under the Kapamilya Gold program lineup.

Manny Pacquiao

Emmanuel "Manny" Dapidran Pacquiao, was born on December 17, 1978 is a Filipino professional boxer and politician. He is the first eight-division world champion; having won six world titles,as well as the first to win the lineal championship in four different weight classes. He was named "Fighter of the Decade" for the 2000s by the Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA). He is also a three-time The Ring and BWAA "Fighter of the Year", winning the award in 2006, 2008, and 2009. Currently, Pacquiao is the WBO Welterweight World Champion (Super Champion). He is also rated as the best pound for pound boxer in the world by some sporting news and boxing websites, including The Ring, BoxRec.com, Yahoo! Sports and Sporting Life.

Aside from boxing, Pacquiao has participated in acting, music recording, and politics. In May 2010, Pacquiao was elected to the House of Representatives in the 15th Congress of the Philippines, representing the province of Sarangani.

Geothermal Energy

Geothermal energy is comes from the word "geo" which means earth and "thermal" means heat.This energy is very important to us humans.Like hydroelectric energy it can produce electricity.the difference of the two is geothermal enegy is cleaner than the hydroelectric energy.

John Traller explained the benefits of that particular energy it can prudce around 500 mega watts of electricity in a city or town.

My favorite spot in our school

My favorite spot in our school is our classroom because i feel comfortable and relax when im resting.It makes me happy when i see my friends and classmates laughing with their funny jokes.It is the better place to study my lessons.

WIRELESS ETHERNET STANDARDS

IEEE 802.11 is the standard that specifies connectivity for wireless networks. IEEE 802.11, or Wi-Fi, refers to a collective group of standards – 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, and 802.11n. These protocols specify the frequencies, speeds, and other capabilities of the different Wi-Fi standards.

Devices conforming to the 802.11a standard allow WLANs to achieve data rates as high as 54 Mbps. IEEE 802.11a devices operate in the 5 GHz radio frequency range and within a maximum range of 45.7 m (150 ft).
